Responsibilities:
- Provide care and supervision to children in a nursery setting during church service and possibly choir practice.
Initially, the position would be for Sundays but could grow to Wednesday nights.
- Create a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and play - Implement age-appropriate activities and educational programs - Assist with feeding, diapering, and other basic needs of the children - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the nursery area - Monitor children for any signs of distress or illness and provide appropriate care - Collaborate with other nursery workers to ensure smooth operation of the facility
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with children, preferably in a daycare or nursery setting - Knowledge of first aid and CPR is highly desirable - Strong caregiving skills and ability to provide emotional support to children - Familiarity with classroom management techniques and strategies - Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively with parents and colleagues - Patience, flexibility, and a genuine love for working with young children - Experience working with students with special education needs is a plus Note:
