TASS Brain Injury Rehabilitation Center TASS Brain Injury Rehabilitation Center Ponchatoula, LA Ponchatoula, LA Part-time Part-time $14 an hour $14 an hour Days 7am-3pm; Evenings 3pm-11pm; Overnight 11pm-7am; Weekends required Under the direction of the supervisor, the Client Coach is responsible for providing basic care to clients, including activities of daily living, and performing a variety of other duties.
Ensure the health and welfare of the clients served.
Hands-on care, assisting with bathing, dressing, personal hygiene, and grooming needs of clients.
Assisting with bowel and bladder programs.
Assisting with meal preparation, feeding, and monitoring weight.
Assist clients with medication and treatment plans as needed.
Performing housekeeping and kitchen duties as assigned.
Able to perform patient lifting and transfers independently and with assistance.
Learning and implementing compensatory strategies and behavior interventions Complete all required documentation in accordance with applicable state agencies and facility policies and procedures Implement behavioral and other programs as trained and requested Assist clients with their goals as outlined in their plan of care documents Identify potential behavior triggers and defuse or redirect as needed to ensure safety and well being of everyone involved.
Knowing history of clients and carrying over behavior management techniques and awareness of individual programs.
Ensuring appropriate level of supervision to assigned clients.
Carrying out therapeutic activities and medical protocols.
Ensuring clients follow daily routines.
Transporting clients on outings and appointments.
Attending on-going in-service training as required by state mandates and company policy.
Performing other duties as required or assigned.
